Corporate Massage
Thank you for choosing Live Well Massage. Maddi strives to provide excellent service and individualised care.
Business/Client
Payment and Pricing
The price of the service will be agreed upon prior to the job start date.
Payment on invoice is due within seven days of receiving it, and will be emailed to you after the massage sessions.
Payment can be made by direct debit into account stated on invoice.
For events over $1000, we require a 50% deposit prior to the event scheduled.
Late payments (payments made after 7 days) are subject to a $100 late fee per week until paid.
Parking
When possible, please provide the massage therapist with a car park in close proximity to your premise. The Therapist’s equipment is heavy.
When a car park cannot be provided, a $15.00 will be added if parking has to be paid for by the Therapist.
Minimum Time For A Job
Live Well Massage requires a minimum of 3 hours (180 minutes of massage time) to be able to travel to a job. This can be negotiated.
As long at the minimum time of 3 hours is met, how you choose to mix and match the length of the sessions is up to your discretion.
Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 72 hours notice of cancellation or to reschedule your booking.
If between 24 to 72 hours notice of cancellation is provided, 50% of the service fee will be charged. In case of gift vouchers, the voucher reduces by half.
Less than 24 hours notice, and NO SHOWS will result in 100% full fee charge, payment within 7 days of appointment via bank deposit or credit card charges. Gift vouchers will be void. No refunds will be given.
Staff Late Arrivals
Appointments start and end on the arranged booked time, not arrival time, and full charge applies. In some cases, when our schedule allows, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be our discretion.
Please consider following up with staff the day prior and day of to remind them of their booking time.
Staff No Shows
Full charges apply per client that does not arrive at their appointment. No refunds will be given.
Staff Sick/Not On Premise
Please advise Massage Therapist on arrival what client’s are not at work. Replacements can be found and no charge applies. If no replacement is found, a 50% service fee applies.
Massage Therapist Scope of Practice
Massage Therapy is a profession in which the practitioner applies the use of soft tissue manipulation; relaxation soft tissue techniques; therapeutic soft tissue techniques; movement of joints, remedial exercises and self care programmes. These are all with the intention to positively affect each client’s health and wellbeing.
Live Well Massage Therapists do not diagnose or treat.
Massage Therapist Scheduled
A Massage Therapist will be designated to providing massage therapy to your business. This Therapist will remain for your following scheduled appointments. Before any changes occur, you will be notified and communicated with.In the event you are not happy with the service, you may be compensated. Please email feedback to Maddi Parker at hello@livewell
Massage Therapist Sick/External Circumstance Influence
In the rare and unfortunate event that the scheduled Massage Therapist cannot make the appointments on the designated day, Live Well Massage will endeavor to find a replacement therapist OR will reschedule the appointments to another day that the designated Massage Therapist can make. This will be up to your discretion, and you will be notified before any finalised changes.
Massage Therapist Professional Boundaries
These will be outlined on an electronic document each client is required to sign prior to his or her first massage appointment.
Information and records will be kept confidential and securely stored for use only by the Massage Therapist
Privacy will be assured at all times and each client has right to undress only to their comfort level and according to the requirements of the treatment as stated by the Therapist.
Draping will be used by the Therapist as required to expose only those parts of the body that require treatment and/or as you choose to ensure my comfort during treatment
During treatment, the Therapist will endeavour to work within a pressure scale to ensure comfort and satisfaction levels.
Each client has the right to decline the use of massage oil or massage wax – and will always be asked for consent prior to this
This service is NOT a sexual service. We are highly trained, qualified, experienced and professional massage therapists. Any sexual behaviour from a client, or potential client, will be referred to the New Zealand Police.

Staff Members
First Appointment
Endeavour to arrive on time to your scheduled appointment time and please provide the mandatory client health history and information sheet to the massage therapist that was sent to you a week prior to the appointment. Ongoing appointments, please arrive on time.
Consent
Prior to your first massage session, the treatment plan will be discussed with you. You will also receive an electronic copy of Live Well’s therapy policies and you will be asked to electronically sign the consent stating that you have read, understood and agreed to Live Well’s massage therapy policies and procedures.
Early Arrivals
Relax in the designated waiting area until your booking time. If the Massage Therapist can accommodate an early start, your appointment length will still be the same.
Late Arrivals
Appointments start and end on the arranged booked time, not arrival time, and full charge applies. Please consider your schedule the day prior and day of the appointment.
In some cases, when our schedule allows, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be our discretion.
Staff Member No Show
Full charges apply per staff member that does not arrive at their appointment.
NOTE: If you are a no-show or cancel on the day, someone else may have wanted that appointment time, and missed out. I need to ensure my time is covered appropriately for your decision to forgo your appointment or need to cancel, so please be aware of Live Well’s cancellation policy.
Staff Member Sick/Not On Premise
Replacements can be found and no charge applies. If no replacement is found, a 50% service fee applies.
To protect the Massage Therapist and exacerbation of your own flu symptoms, it is important you do not get massaged.
Payment/Pricing
(N/A if fully subsidised by your workplace)
The price of the service will be agreed upon prior to the job start date. Payment is to be made to the Massage Therapist on the day of the massage in cash. In some cases, the Therapist may allow bank deposits, but these must be made on the day of the massage.
Late payments (longer than 7 days), are subject to a $10 late fee for every week after 7 days.
Pregnancy
Please advise Maddi of any potential pregnancy. Maddi only massages in Trimester two and three of pregnancy to avoid any unwanted complications in trimester one.
