What is Live Co’s FREE chair massage introductory offer?
Live Well Co extends an introductory offer of THREE 20 minute chair massages free of charge to three different staff members within the company. This is a one time introductory offer, per company. It’s important to gauge what is involved in each session, so you can recommend it to your staff!

What do we wear during this massage?
Respect and privacy is a top priority for Live Well Co.
You will always be draped, and removal of your clothing is up to your discretion!
We suggest either:
Massage over the clothes
Removal of your shirt with the therapist draping you accordingly so you are not exposed
Wearing a low singlet, so the massage therapist massage therapist can access most of the upper body; others prefer the massage over their clothes.
Note: draping is always used when skin is exposed; the therapist never suggests removal of the bottom half clothing
What should I wear on the day of my massage?
What you are most comfortable in for work.
It is suggested (if you remember), that dresses should be avoided on the day of massage but not essential, as draping can be easily used so you are not exposed at all.
Depending on the area chosen for massage, jewelry of the neck/arms/hands may be asked to remove – but not mandatory.
What hygienic practices are put in place between clients?
Hygiene is a top priority! Hand washing is used between each client; the face cradle ___ is changed every client; the chair is wiped down on areas of skin exposure.
What areas can be massaged on the day?
It is your choice of areas to be massaged, but what we offer is : Head, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, upper back, mid back/low back.
What products are used?
Products will not be used when the massage is over the clothes.
Permission to use a product is determined before application.
Allergies are always determined before application
Products used are:
Nut oil (usually almond) OR Tui beeswax massage wax.

Any after massage advice?
- drink water throughput the day
- don’t stay stagnant at your desk, make sure to stand up every hour and move your shoulders around
- Eat within 1-3 hours- Strenuous activity should be carefully considered, depending on the depth of the massage. Usually avoid, as your muscles can feel relaxed and you may over extend.
Can I get a massage if I am unwell?
No. Our therapists want to stay well, and massage therapy can make you feel worse! Try find a replacement or talk to the massage organisers for more information.
Can I get a massage if I am pregnant?
Yes, in your second and third trimester only. Massage is great for you! Live Well also offers pregnancy massage in a private clinic setting, see here
